Dr. Khan, a cardiologist, founded Circuit Clinical in 2014 to bring clinical research opportunities to patients through the physicians who care for them. The company is now the nation’s fastest-scaling research site network, with access to more than one million patients in Western New York. Circuit Clinical recently announced a partnership with Austin, Texas-based ePatientFinder, a research-delivery network and leader in identifying patients through electronic health records. The collaboration expands Circuit Clinical’s reach to more than 3.5 million patients across the U.S.
“I’m delighted to join the MedTech board and work with other health care leaders to help grow the life sciences industry in New York state,” Dr. Khan said. More than 200,000 people are employed in New York in the industry, which has a total revenue impact of more than $60 billion.
MedTech members include more than 100 pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical technology companies, their suppliers and service providers, and research universities across the state. The association facilitates collaboration through education and advocacy to drive the success and growth of member companies.
